I designed this case when I swapped my laptop's HDD for a SSD so I could keep using that hard drive as an external disk. I added some features such as the honeycomb pattern for cooling and the flaps so the case stays closed. All you need is a old HDD and a SATA to USB adapter and you are ready to go! IMPORTANT: This case is designed for a 2.5", 9.5mm high HDD.

This archive contains the artifacts related to the WD1002S-WX2 Winchester Disk Controller made by Western Digital including the reconstructed source code to the adapter ROM BIOS along with the assembler and linker needed to rebuild it. The included ROM BIOS source has been manually disassembled from a binary BIOS ROM image titled "62-000042-012" and commented. When assembled, it matches the original ROM byte-for-byte.
