I've optimized the scad files for M3 with 5.5mm nut wrench size. The presets in the scad file is for 170mm smooth rod distance and a 50mm wide mid bar and can be easily modified, beltsize is GT2 and can be adjusted to XL/T5. Sorry, I've uploaded the version I've used for the Anet A8 first that has with only 0.25mm almost no support thickness in the scad file. I've corrected that by uploading a version with the support thickness of 4.9mm as it is in the thing this remix is based on.

Very strong carriage, uses 4 Perlin wheels instead of three and is very close in design size to my three wheel carriage but this one is a tad stronger & heavier design but simplistic. I did use this carriage on my current printer and does work well but ieventually upgraded to the 8 wheel for larger application, M4 alan bolts for all the hardware as usual. I also started tapping the M4 bolt holes in the plastic, sometimes the plastic would gaul up around the bolt threads and not hold...

I own a Robo3D for a while now.. And what I like about it is the Wide 80mm Carraige rail system.. this gives lots of room to play with the Extruder Carriage. I have designed it so i can be used with the standard Mendelmax 1.5 dimensions. It uses standard LM8UU bearings. The Extruder Carriage is also extra wide so you can place any extrude on it.. For example you can mount a wade extruder straight or sideways. My Extruder carriage contains a Greg Wade Extruder with a E3D V6 Hotend, 2 Fan mounts...

**Now don't expect much...** Here's just one more to add to the pile of hotend carriages. I've worked for almost 2 months, just tinkering around on this one design. *26* versions and plenty more prints than that later, this popped out. **Before you read all this... Here's the basics:** -The files are all necessary except for "Fan Rest.stl". That is simply for the hotend fan (not part fan) to rest on. -This carriage uses 2 4010 blower fans, a 4020 or 4010 case fan, a BLTouch, an E3D v6...

Y carriage belt holder with Prusa MK3-style fixings. Very easy to change belts. No unnecessary tensioners - just loosen your P3Steel Y idler about 1-2mm, insert the belt, and tighten the Y idler. Dimensions are specifically measured, so that belt sits dead center and parallel with the 12mm diameter smooth idler and 16T motor pulley. Uses 2x M3 24mm + 2x M3 12mm screws with nylocks nut, assuming you have 3.3mm thick P3Steel frame. For best results, use: - 6 solid top/bottom layers - 6 perimeters...

This is new version of Biqu B1 X carriage, they modified the design & mounting location from the old one, please see pictures for comparison. Created this based from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4313951 and measurement from the picture, might not be 100% accurate. Maybe it can be useful for someone to do some measurement & design.

This is a customizable thing that can be used to measure the distance between the rods on an axis. I designed this as I needed a way to find out what the X-carriage dimensions of my no-name Chinese printer were. It's not particularly easy to measure with calipers, and you need it to be exact, so here is a thing that'll confirm the dimensions for you. First take your digital calipers and measure the rod diameter. It'll probably be a metric rod of 8mm or 10mm diameter. Unless you know it's not...

This is a modification of the X axis for Geeetech i3 and the modified result will need a longer X carriage GT2 belt, the original one will be a few centimeters short. The x rods are placed horizontally instead of vertically and the extruder is turned into a Bowden setup. It fits original printer's Z interaxis and larger as it is adjustable in that direction. The belt and motor are rotated 90 degrees too. Interaxis of X axles is 45mm. The belt locking plate and extruder cooling case should be...

This is a crude approximation of a carriage which should (hopefully) be compatible with the mounting points in designer infill3D's extruder models. I haven't tried printing it and I most likely never will but I spent some time putting it together in the hope that it will fit the purpose. If you decide to print this please post a make or let me know your results. Intended for an x axis with 45mm center to center x rod separation. I may be willing to make the effort to build a variant with 44mm...

This is an evolution of the OpenSCAD rewrite by "toomanyplugs" of "bubak"'s original OpenX carriage. This version includes: captive nut traps for most of the horizontal holes more parametric variables (not completely finished) thicker cross beams and outer edge (to accommodate captive nuts) wider hole on the back clamp to feed x-axis belt through (see update after printing) Updated version: Shorter incomplete polygons. Should only be 3-4 layers of trick holes depending on...

Presenting the MiltyKoss Alpha One! This is a small delta printer frame using the same frame dimensions as a Mini Kossel, but with a larger build area. MiltyKoss uses an innovative new design for sliding carriages on OpenBeam 1515 extrusions. The first prototype MiltyKoss is in testing, it is printing very well, so the design is being released to the wild! A lot of work went into designing a low cost highly functional sliding carriage. 20 or so different prototypes with different materials,...

I wanted to test how feasible a DIY cheap y-carriage with parts one could easily find would be. Results: It's surprisingly good, the only down side is that it requires work assembling it, maybe a drill if the holes are too small. There is no belt anchor, you just secure the belts with zip-ties around the X rods. You can then use 1 zip-tie on the left side of the zip-tied belt to secure both X rods, and another on the right side. This creates tension in the rods and removes their flexibility....

The Original motor side carriage didn't have room for optical sensor mount and I found it slightly dimensionally off when printed. So I made a few edits and few prints and found these to match up and hold linear bearings. FYI: Removing optical sensor from original carriage is tricky because it is glued on. Also I setup Motor side to use brass knurls for belt clip instead of hex nuts. Something really important after the 2 carriages are printed and you put the rods back in them you want to make...

All you need is two M4x15 or longer bolt / nut sets. - Adjusted the spacing between the wheel holes so a tighter mount is possible - Increased the size for the M4 bolt / nut sets to mount the E3D - Added more convenient space to place the nuts for the E3D mounting - Added two small slits to use a tie wrap to gather the cables coming from the hot-end...
