Pasang is a traditional game of Brunei. In this game, black and white tokens are arranged on a playing board, forming a pattern. There is a catalogue of more than 30 different patterns. Many of these patterns resemble embroideries commonly seen on kain songket or kain tenun, Brunei's traditional cloth. Two players take turn capturing these tokens, scoring 1 point for each black token and 2 points for each white one. The game ends when the board is empty, or when a player runs out of moves....

This is a video exploration and review of Yspahan, a strategy board game. It's about playing merchants in souks, sending those merchants out on caravans, and building new technologies...at least that's the pasted-on theme. It's really about rolling dice and using the results of those dice to your advantage.

This episode is about Lifeboats, which is a game about negotiation and survival. Each player represents a group of sailors and offices all dumped off a ship into lifeboats. Board Games with Scott is a weekly video explanation and review of a board game. This show is about Indonesia, which is a heavier European strategy game about mergers & acquisitions and logistics of production and delivery. It's a longer, deeper game than many of those explored at Board Games with Scott, but is a good step for those interested in a longer game.
