In 1992, Amnesty International produced a disjointed, bizarre TV special with the theme of human rights, and specifically, against the torture of women. Serious speeches were bookended by comedic performances, and a couple of musical performances. The special aired on April 14, 1992 on Lifetime TV, hosted by Roseanne and Tom Arnold.
