We demonstrate a novel kind of polariton four wave mixing oscillation. Two pump polaritons scatter towards final states that emit two beams of equal intensity, separated both spatially and in polarization with respect to the pumps. The measurement of the intensity fluctuations of the emitted light demonstrates that the final states are strongly correlated.

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. -- In Orbiter Processing Facility Bay 3, workers install the new orbital boom sensor system in Discovery?s payload bay. The previous boom was removed for repairs on the manipulator positioning mechanism, the pedestals that hold the boom in place in the payload bay. We seek to determine the mechanism of like-charge attraction by measuring the temperature dependence of critical divalent counterion concentration ($\rm{C_{c}}$) for the aggregation of fd viruses. We find that an increase in temperature causes $\rm{C_c}$ to decrease, primarily due to a decrease in the dielectric constant ($\epsilon$) of the solvent. We consider the problem of selecting a appropriate distortion function and associated parameters to account for rare but catastrophic events that may result from a shortfall of military or security capabilities. Additionally, we describe the means by which a decision maker may allocate resources, subject to a finite budget constraint, while considering the impact of the risk of such shortfalls.
