The Shandong edition of the Xinminbao (新民報) was a Chinese newspaper published in Beiping (Beijing) during the Japanese occupation from 1940 to 1944. Its pages mirror those of the Tianjin edition but each edition had a separate page reporting on local news. In this case Shandong province related material was included on the third or fourth page.

The Shishi Xinbao (時事新報) or China Times was one of the leading Chinese newspapers published in Shanghai from 1907 to 1949. In its early years it was affiliated with the Progressive Party (進步黨) which was a rival to the later dominant Nationalist party (國民黨).
