This is a fuel tank cap that I printed for my Opel Zafira-A. I printed it out of PETG as I understand it can handle petrol vapors quite well. It is printed hollow and with holes (like the brand model) that allow air in or out so that no vacuum or pressure builds up in the tank. No supports needed. I only used a 10mm brim one layer high brim to prevent the piece from curling when printing the first few layers. The O-ring can be printed with Ninjaflex (also suitable for te application) or you can...

This is the support frame for face shield. As protective shield can be used a transparent cover foil from documents spiral binding, silicone foil from laser printer or a A4 or Letter transparent pocket. Between frontal ribbon and forehead support is an small space for inserting foil. After printing, clean this space using a narrow cutter or similar tool. Must include a base support (raft) for ABS. Not necessary for PLA. The shield is an modified HancochH model.

An explanation to the boundness of minimal log discrepancies conjectured by V.V. Shokurov would be that the minimal log discrepancies of a variety in its closed points define a lower semi-continuous function. We check this lower semi-continuity behaviour for varieties of dimension at most 3 and for toric varieties of arbitrary dimension.

In this note we make use of some properties of vector fields on a manifold to give an alternate proof to [3] for the equivalence between connections and parallel transport on vector bundles over manifolds. Out of the proof will emerge a new approach to connections on a bundle as a consistent way to lift the dynamics of the manifold to the bundle.

In a series of very interesting papers [1-7], Joy Christian constructed a counterexample to Bell's theorem. This counterexample does not have the same assumptions as the original Bell's theorem, and therefore it does not represent a genuine disproof in a strict mathematical sense. However, assuming the physical relevance of the new assumptions, the counterexample is shown to be a contextual hidden variable theory. If Bell's theorem's importance is to rule out contextual hidden variable theories...

We show that some more results from the literature are particular cases of the so-called "invariance under twisting" for twisted tensor products of algebras, for instance a result of Beattie-Chen-Zhang that implies the Blattner-Montgomery duality theorem.

Classical Hecke operators on Maass forms are unitarely equivalent, up to a commuting phase, to completely positive maps on II$_1$ factors, associated to a pair of isomorphic subfactors, and an intertwining unitary. This representation is obtained through a quantized representation of the Hecke operators. in this representation, the Hecke operators act on the Berezin's quantization, deformation algebra of the fundamental domain of $\PSL(2,\Z)$ in the upper halfplane. Products and tensor products are linked by a universal property. Imposing the invariance of the laws of Nature under tensor composition along with Leibniz identity determines quantum and classical mechanics algebraic structure through the interplay between products, coproducts, and the tensor product. Violations of Bell's inequalities distinguishes quantum from classical mechanics.

Quantum mechanics is an extremely successful theory of nature and yet it has resisted all attempts to date to have an intuitive axiomatization. In contrast, special theory of relativity is well understood and is rooted into natural or experimentally justified postulates. Here we show an axiomatization approach to quantum mechanics which is very similar with how special theory of relativity can be derived. The core idea is that of composing two systems and the fact that the composed system...

A conformal structure on a manifold $M^n$ induces natural second order conformally invariant operators, called M\"obius and Laplace structures, acting on specific weight bundles of $M$, provided that $n\ge 3$. By extending the notions of M\"obius and Laplace structures to the case of surfaces and curves, we develop here the theory of extrinsic conformal geometry for submanifolds, find tensorial invariants of a conformal embedding, and use these invariants to characterize various forms...

We show that EPR's criterion of reality leads to contradictions in quantum mechanics. When locality is assumed, an inequality involving only one particle is violated, while when parameter and outcome dependence are assumed, EPR-realism is shown to be not Lorentz invariant. Quantum mechanics is both non-local and non-realistic.

Let $K/\mathbb Q$ be a finite Galois extension, $s_0\in \mathbb C\setminus \{1\}$, ${\it Hol}(s_0)$ the semigroup of Artin L-functions holomorphic at $s_0$. If the Galois group is almost monomial then Artin's L-functions are holomorphic at $s_0$ if and only if $ {\it Hol}(s_0)$ is factorial. This holds also if $s_0$ is a zero of an irreducible L-function of dimension $\leq 2$, without any condition on the Galois group.

We reduce the Abundance Conjecture in dimension 4 to the following numerical statement: if the canonical divisor K is nef and has maximal nef dimension, then K is big. From this point of view, we ``classify'' in dimension 2 nef divisors which have maximal nef dimension, but which are not big.

Four critical elementary mathematical mistakes in Joy Christian's counterexample to Bell's theorem are presented. Consequently, Joy Christian's hidden variable model cannot reproduce any quantum mechanics results and cannot be used as a counterexample to Bell's theorem. The mathematical investigation is followed by a short discussion about the possibility to construct other hidden variable theories. A tutorial section on relevant Clifford algebra topics was added at the end to help interested...

In this paper we study the asymptotic distribution of the moments of (non-normalized) traces $\Tr (w_1), \Tr(w_2), ..., \Tr(w_r)$, where $ w_1, w_2, >..., w_r$ are reduced words in unitaries in the group $\cU(N)$. We prove that as $N\to \infty$ these variables are distributed as normal gaussian variables $\sqrt {j_1} Z_1, ..., \sqrt{Z_r}$, where $j_1, ..., j_r$ are the number of cyclic rotations of the words $w_1, ..., w_s$ leaving them invariant. Working with anticommuting Weyl(or Mayorana) spinors in the framework of the van der Waerden calculus is standard in supersymmetry. The natural frame for rigorous supersymmetric quantum field theory makes use of operator-valued superdistributions defined on supersymmetric test functions. In turn this makes necessary a van der Waerden calculus in which the Grassmann variables anticommute but the fermionic components are commutative instead of being anticommutative. We work out such a calculus in...

Goat meat, often called chevon when from adults and cabrito or just kid when from young animals, is the meat of the domestic goat (Capra aegagrus hircus). While "goat" is usually the name for the meat found in common parlance, producers and marketers may prefer to use the French-derived word chevon (from chèvre), since market research in the United States suggests that "chevon eater" is more palatable to consumers than "goat eater". Cabrito is a word of Spanish...

We present unitarily represented supersymmetric canonical commutation relations which are subsequently used to canonically quantize massive and massless chiral, antichiral and vector fields. The massless fields, especially the vector one, show new facets which do not appear in the non superymmetric case. Our tool is the supersymmetric positivity induced by the Hilbert-Krein structure of the superspace.
