What I can't understand is why it does not seem to be possible to select / copy text in the 'flipbook' from many (but not all) of the items I have uploaded. So, for example, in this item text can be selected:

However, in this one, I can't:
https://archive.org/details/spain-and-the-west-country/page/2/mode/2up
In both cases the OCR works if the file is downloaded as a pdf or if the 'full text' file is accessed. So, I'm assuming the problem is something to do with the settings. However, I can't work out what the problem is and the forums and other searches I've attempted haven't provided any answers.
