You might want to speak to Jason Scott, he will surely be able to help you. I mean you can just create an account on archive.org for free, image your tapes and use the upload button and fill out the form but if that is confusing Jason can help. In any event, if you just use the upload button your content will find their way to the appropriate category on the internet archive.
To get his contact email go to
http://ascii.textfiles.com/about and on the right you will find a black frame with his contact info. He works at the internet archive.

I'm not sure how often they authorize accounts to upload directly into collections. I would upload your media into the community movies collection and then make a forum post asking for the items to be moved into the vhsvault collection.
