INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING THEMES:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- drop the *.Theme file in your C:\Windows\Program Files\Plus\directory.
- create a directory Star Trek in :\%windir\%media
- Put all the other files in this directory
- The default Jpeg is label Star Trek The Wrath of Khan Wallpaper.
LOGO's (If included with this theme)

- Copy logo.sys over the logo.sys (If included with this theme) in the root directory of your boot drive usually the c-drive or hard drive (you might want to keep a copy of the original logo.sys). I have several different versions of startup & shutdown logo's if you care to contact me.
- Copy Logos.sys & Logow.sys into the windows file (also called windows95 directory) in your root directory of your hard drive over the corresponding files with the same name. Here again you may want to make a backup copy of the original files before continuing. That's all there is to it, your done now close all files & folders.
- Of course the best place to find more Star Trek logo's on the web is to look at the XRX homepage.
- Open Control Panel | Desktop Themes. The 'Star Trek (TOS)' scheme should
appear in the list of available themes. My theme only provides mostly sound settings but you can also select the other settings and see what my desktop looks like.
THEME INSTALLATION PROBLEMS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you are having problems installing a logo or the theme, the following could be one of your problems:
- you don't have Microsoft Plus installed
- You are putting the Logo.sys's file in the wrong folders. Re-read the instructions for logo's above.
- You are not unzipping with a 32 bit decompression program that
supports long file names(WinZip recommended)
TROUBLESHOOTING

If you have installed the theme correctly, but it doesn't seem
to work properly, then your problems could be:
- Your Windows directory is not C:\Windows\ change the
- Your Theme directory is not C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes\
- Some files may be corrupt (especially if downloaded off the
internet. Contact me directly for an email version of the theme
