The source code was released on
20 January 2003 on
SourceForge with a CVS repository under the GNU General Public License version 2 (or any later version) with the purpose of enabling ports to alternative platforms. I do not know if this ended up actually happening.
On 5 October 2017,
SourceForge announced they will drop support for CVS repos but, unlike Bitbucket with Mercurial (HG) repositories, they did not delete them from the website. For preservation's purposes, I'm uploading it on the Internet Archive, cloned with
WinCvs, and manually compressed using
the settings written here.
