The general concept remains the same: the player controls a catapult at the bottom of the screen that shoots bubbles of random colors. When three or more bubbles of the same color touch on the playfield, they are removed, with any bubbles falling away that are not attached to the ceiling, sidewall, or another bubble. The ceiling periodically descends, pushing the bubbles downward. The game is lost if any bubbles touch the bottom. In single-player mode, the goal is to clear pre-set bubble...

Classic strategy board game for Comomdore 64. This software is preserved in its original format with intact copy protection thanks to the .g64 container format. As a result, it takes about 4 minutes to load in real time. You can use the Alt-W keyboard shortcut in the emulator to speed up the loading process. It was ripped by an experimental floppy interface board using FluxEngine software and converted to g64 with g64conv.

Description from: Indie Retro News As you know Indie Retro News prides itself on mentioning games, teasers and compilations, but the latest C64 SpongeBog Demo by Max of Flat 3 Hackers was just too good to miss. This is one of the wackiest and most upbeat tunes I've heard on the C64 by far, and apparently the music is related to the catchy tune playing at the Spongebob Arcade Machine, which is located at Planet Fun, Ingoldmells. In fact it's so good, Max has gone that bit further and added...

Cult hero Matthew Smith followed up Manic Miner with a seminal platform game. Having struck it lucky in the first game, Willy now owns a lavish mansion with over 60 rooms linked in a 3D plane, and must tidy it all before his housekeeper will let him sleep. Each room has its own hazards, such as spikes, revolving razors and ropes. The route through the house must be navigated carefully, due to the multiple entrances to some rooms - this is perhaps the first action game where mapping is an...

As described at the Games That Weren't website: This is an entry for a long lost AtariSoft conversion of Joust for the Commodore 64, due for release back in 1984. The game had made it across to a variety of platforms, but the C64 game was to be caught up in the collapse of the company. Many believed that the conversion would end up being released by another company under the name of Jouste. However, this was just an unofficial clone written by Kim McCherry and not official at any stage. Some...
