Subject:
A poor-quality Sonic clone
This game appears to be somewhat symbolic of the system it was made for. It's a more-or-less blatant ripoff of Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega Genesis/Mega Drive), complete with open level structure and horizontal spring buttons. But instead of controlling an extremely fast blue hedgehog, you control a kid with a punk hairdo who collects baseballs and whacks his enemies with a baseball bat.
The controls are reasonable, though in the Internet Archive emulator, the game runs at less than half speed (if the level timer is to be believed). The game is presented reasonably well, with a colorful and visually snazzy introduction, but the gameplay feels shoddy, as many Sonic and Mario third-party clones tend to be.
