DESCRIPTION
Religion & Literature is an active peer-reviewed scholarly journal published triannually by the University of Notre Dame. Launched in 1984, as a continuation of Notre Dame English Journal (NDEJ), the journal explores the relations between the religious impulse and the literary forms of any era, place, or language.
Each issue features original articles that consider the literature of any time or place in conjunction with important religious or theological issues that emerge from the literary text or that illuminate it. It also contains forums dedicated to focused topics in religion and literature, along with reviews of new literature relevant to the field. Occasional special-focus issues are dedicated to a particular topic of interest.
The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1984 and 2013.
