Subject: Excellent set thanks!
Glad you are enjoying the set. :)
The difference of 6 are the thumbnail to the set and a few -XML files used by archive.org.
I haven't used Free Download Manager before, but with JDownloader i get solid 25Mbit/s.
The Problem with big 1 zip archives is that when uploading to archive.org it frequently failes to upload and you need to resume, thus doing many files in bulk is fine, if i want to upload a above 50GB zip there is just no chance.
I'll make sure to update the set in the coming months, this is not always possible, because of the big amount of sets i maintain and because of the limited time i have.
Unfortunately i only split sets in parts if they exceed 1TB, otherwise if i were to split it up into lettered parts the overview of my profile would be cluttered. One can simply press "SHOW ALL" on the right side and hit the key combo Ctrl + F to search for a specific title if need be.
You can use a download manager like jdownloader to grab all the links under the "SHOW ALL" overview and strip out what you dont need in bulk. If you then add your archive.org account to jdownloader, you can achieve higher speeds than if you were to torrent.
You can achive high download speeds by using JDownloader & adding your archive.org account to it.
Torrents on Archive.org generally are very janky, us uploaders have no controll over them whatsoever.
Subject: Very good set! Just a few questions
I just have a few questions regarding usability in archive.org: what's the difference between the ZIP and SHOW ALL (which has "x files" and "x original") options on the side? The zipped version has a few files less; also, I tried adding my archive account to JDownloader but I still wasn't able to download there from sets that require login on archive.org – what I did instead was installing a Free Download Manager extension on my browser so it gets my downloads already logged in when I click them, but I don't know if its speed is similar to JDownloader, so I'd like some insight on it.
Also, would it be possible to organize the files in a single zip that could be downloaded at once? I'm facing difficulty to bulk download all the content separated.
Thanks in advance and good job again!
