The Mego 2-XL Robot was a toy robot which used 8-track tape cartridges to play trivia games. The four different programs were swapped between over the course of the game as the player selected different answers. This enabled the robot to give feedback based on the different answers.
The Italian release of the Mego 2-XL is shrouded in mystery. As of this writing, no advertisements or official tape lists have surfaced. Only a single tape release is known, with no other audio or even photographs of other cartridges appearing.
This tape, "Nastro Dimostrativo", was bundled with an Italian-language robot in what appears to have been an Italian retail release. However, as the title translates to "Demonstration Tape", and the cover art is plain, it may have actually been sold to stores for use in display units.
It claims to contain excerpts from three Italian Mego 2-XL tapes: "Cultura Generale", "Sport", and "Guiness dei Primati"
