This flier was an attempt to pitch the Mego 2-XL robot to schools, with special offerings that were not sold to the regular market. First, this 2-XL unit would have a headphone jack, which was not present on the regular model. Second, many of the tapes would come with 8x11 inch workbooks, rather than the small workbooks that were common with the retail 2-XL tapes. Finally, the tapes are listed in four assortments. The first assortment was released in the retail market, but the other three were not.

It is unknown whether the other three assortments were ever produced. It is also unknown whether the bigger booklets or the 2-XL model with the headphone jack was ever produced.
