Not many people care about the inane history of Zombie King. Those who know it, would rather forget, including ZK's own parents. So for you to be reading this means you either you have a morbid curiosity about you or way too much time on your hands.
In any case, Zombie King was born in St. Petersburg, Florida and quickly moved to Washington D.C. where he spent most of his natural life quietly in the suburban sprawl surrounding our nation's capitol. By age 9 he had shown a predisposition towards juvenile delinquency and was promptly sent to the Backwoods School for Wayward Boys, A coed boarding school, run by drunks and hippies located near Leesburg, VA.
At age 13, he discovered the harmonica and within a month, had mastered the art of permanent pest removal by playing simple melodies. He spent his senior year, rarely in attendance at Herndon High School and was released on his own recognizance in June, 1978.
In the early 1980's, ZK returned to Florida and soon realized his mistake. He spent the next 10 years trying to leave, working odd jobs at various radio stations, day labor camps and delicatessens before earning enough "sunshine" to bribe his way over the state line and off towards Los Angeles, CA. where he now resides.
Zombie King's musical career has run the gammut from A-B. He is a singer/songwriter, producer, and habitual online collaborator and he even tried stand up comedy. Once.
He plays acoustic and electric guitar, bass, harmonica, keyboard and most common kitchen utensils all with equal verve and a complete lack of applied music theory. It is not widely know that ZK can't read a note of music, that is, unless you've heard his music - at which point it becomes grossly apparent.
His accomplishments include awards for, "Most Annoying Musician," "Needlessly Prolific," "Worst Tonal Assault," "Least Favorable Artist," and "Artist Most Likely To Be Featured On C.O.P.S."
