Work of Saws, or "Work of Saws" was formed way back in 1999 by singer/songwriter/art-type Brock Davis in a feeble even somewhat laughable attempt to "write the perfect melodic song." Davis has written about 350 songs since the bands conception, penning them down on his Tascam 4-track recorder. "I only work with the best" says Davis. "Each Work of Saws song is meticulously crafted by hand for days and days at a time in order to achieve a perfect and precisely produced pop song. Okay, that was a lie." Work of Saws play in local Minneapolis clubs and coffee shops and the occasional Bingo hall. Work of Saws is: Brock Davis on vocals and guitar, David Salmela on bass/piano/backing vocals and Brian Tierney on drums.
