With the debut EP release, Bliss, Wistful Sound Gazers presents a collection of pop songs, combining the styles of alternative rock, soul, and elements of new age. The six tracks are performed by songwriter Ron Christopher, who has been working within the fringes of the industryî for the past ten years.
"It's been in the past few years that things have started to happen", says the native Philadelphian, who has performed with various local artists, as well as rendered his voice on radio jingles for local and national companies.
Why the name Wistful Sound Gazers? "The desire to have a band, and ultimately be creative", says Christopher, who sees Wistful Sound Gazers as an "entity" that will allow him to continue recording and performing the various styles of music he enjoys. "One day it's hip hop, the next day I'm blasting a Mozart concerto on my stereo. My desire is to do this in my music as well."
All songs were written and produced and performed by Christopher and co-produced by Joe Stout.
