Hailing from Long Island, New York. The Verdicts portray a blend of Melodic Punk Rock, Hardcore, and Alternative music. The band is made up of four members with heavily diverse musical influences. Independently, the band recorded and released demos in the local scene. Over the years, the band established a prodigious fanbase and developed an erratic live performance. Since 1998, The Verdicts have opened and headlined a total of 200+ appearances. They landed spots on over 60 stations, received over 26,000 plays, and still soar through the ranks on mp3.com. The quartet has experienced many changes in the lineup. When a conflict in educational pursument occured, the band said fairwell to the two founding members of The Verdicts. Ira Miller (Guitar) and Steve Leventhal (Drum Kit) saw a better way in their light. Despite the tragic loss, the group found the link to ingenious percussion and cursive guitar work. Vinny Oliveri (Drum Kit) and Robb Griffen (Guitar) were welcomed to the mix with open arms. John and Keith have taken the band by the throat with concept and measure. John holds the responsibility of the writing, recording, promoting, and an award winning website. Keith, keeps the moral of the members on the brighter side. Along with his ingenious basslines, Keith's presence is key. It all started when John released a twelve track cassette tape on a 16-bit digital recorder, all by himself. This tape was sold genuinely fast. It became a favorite to original and modern punkers! Soon after, the group began to play shows weekly. Furthermore, John and the group purchased a Mac Pro Tools setup and are recording every day to develop the style.
