Ivy 'Okolo Shadi' Hylton is an internationally known sacred performance artist. A licensed Holistic Psychotherapist, Reiki Master, Reflexologist and Aromatherapist who is known for her creative expression, spiritual presence and transforming lectures and classes. Sister Ivy is a producer and professional recording artist who creates soothing, healing vibrations and takes listeners on a musical journey to enlightenment. Her recent work includes Mind Body Spirit (A Musical Massage) released in 1995, and newly released Compact Disc entitled Crystal Dreams. She is currently writing a book entitled "Inner Sanctuary" (Creating Refuge for Serenity and Peace) to be released in late fall 1998. Innovative founder of Psychological Support Services Institute in Washington, D.C. and served as Clinical Director until 1995. Is now CEO and Director of Divine Inspirations, bringing forth holistic products and services for spiritual growth, personal enlightenment and global healing. She is also founder of the Healing Temple of Light, where the Singing Crystal Bowls carry the ancient healing wisdom of regeneration, meditation, stress release and initiating spiritual healing. The Sacred Moments concert tour came into existence in early 1997 when Ivy "Okolo Shadi" realized that the time had come to use the gifts and power of sacred music for healing. The idea of healing with sound and vibration is an ancient healing art that has returned to fulfill its righteous place in time. Sister Ivy has been inspired by God to use sacred ritual, vibration, sound and spirituals to resolve the genetic trauma experienced by oppressed people of African descent, as a result of slavery throughout the world... even the universe. Sacred Moments Concert is an opportunity for all who desire an expression of release & resolve from their own ancestral legacy. People of African descent are yearning to be released from emotional lack, spiritual stagnation and issues of heart-pain. Sacred Moments has been designed to offer release and an experience of healing by the use of sacred music, dance, African and Native American drums, cleansing fire and soothing water, a musical anointing of the spirit.
