Beginning his musical training on violin at the age of two, Brent Cramer, a Dallas native, has since expanded his practical (not to be confused with virtuosic) talents to include the guitar, bass, piano, drums, and voice. At the age of fourteen, he recorded his first album with his punk band, Underage, in which he was singer/songwriter and guitarist. The album was released on Delinquent-C Records in 1997, and Underage performed with No Doubt, Goldfinger, MxPx, and the Bouncing Souls, as well as at the Dallas 1999 Warped Tour show. In June 2000, after Underage, Brent signed on with Last Beat Records as a solo artist, Cramer. Starting college at Columbia in the fall, Brent recorded his debut solo album during the holiday breaks. The self-titled album was released this July, 2001. (Check out lastbeatrecords.com for more info). As a solo artist, Cramer has appeared at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin.
