Any Hayes (tm) compatible modem, operating at 1200, 2400, 9600, or 14400 bps. 2. Any Macintosh with 2MB. Hypercard Player or HyperCard. 2.0 or 2.1. Set-Up 1. Drag the Drop Kick folder from the diskette onto your hard drive, and put it in any directory you want. 2. Connect and turn on your modem. 3. Go to that location and double click on the Drop Kick icon to start the program. 4. The first time you open the stack, you will be asked four questions to set-up the program. You can change any of these settings from the OPTIONS MENU. Sending a File 1. The person you are sending the file to must also have Drop Kick up and running; phone them in advance if necessary and alert them. (What if the modem speeds are not sync'd?). 2. Agree on the modem speed to transmit and receive at -- the speed must be the same; change it from the OPTIONS MENU. 3. The receiving Macintosh must click on the Answer and Receive File button. 4. The sending Macintosh must click on the Dial and Send File button and the transfer will begin. 5. When completed, you will get a message and you have the option to use the open phone line to talk.
