Notes
-Joe Pete cuts in a few seconds late on the masters, sorry
-The levels were a little weird at the begining of Joe Pete, I fixed them the best I could in Sonar, and tracked in CD Wave.
Thanks for the help! Thanks to Fez for the help w/tracking, setlists, and of course the music!

One of the best shows in our history imo. Sound quality is very listenable after intital adjustment. check out the extended past lives.(its sick). Cut Out the Pain has a sick solo by billy on mando, and the General Turkey was the first and only version played that year.

...to find Hypnotic Clambake on the archive. I had a chance to see these guys about a few dozen times in the early and mid 90's, mostly in Jamestown, Fredonia, The Great Heron, other Western New York locales. What a treat to find some shows available for download. Fez, if you're checkin in, do you remember a band from the area called Nuns of the Great West?
On to this show - defintely well worth the download. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality. Always good to hear some old tunes I haven't listended to in years.

this performance was in the "dance tent" at the festival. iirc, that problem at the beginning of joe pete was either with the soundboard feed, or in someone's cable. i seem to remember that one of the other guys who taped didn't have that problem because he wasn't part of the "chain" of decks that i was plugged into. i am not 100% sure of that, however. so, there may very well be someone out there who has a tape without that problem.
as for the show itself, this was a great performance indeed. definitely a must for any clambake fan. i think this recording sounds great...you just have to remember that it was originally recorded on analog tape, so there will be *some* hiss. it's no big deal on this though, imo. download this show and decide for yourself...it's not like it's costing you anything :)
one thing that i haven't seen any other comments on: there is a cut almost halfway into old joe clark. i'm guessing it's from a tape flip.
