Ramble On Rose, Minglewood Blues, It Must Have Been The Roses, It's All Over Now Baby Blue*, Desolation Row* Box Of Rain, Playin' In The Band-> Terrapin Station-> Drums-> The Other One-> Wharf Rat-> Around & Around-> Good Lovin', E: Satisfaction
* with Bob Dylan.
Tape flip between tracks 6 & 7.
Many small flaws tape warble, clicks etc.
Source tape had excessive top end & no bottom end (very tinny). And varied in volume levels between segments. EQ adjusted with Rane ME60 prior to A -> D, normalized using Cool Edit Pro 2.1

7-7
After a hot day of drinking beer on 7-6 my friend and I slept in late on the 7th in Silver Springs because we didn't have tickets for the 7th. Around 4 with the sun going down we started getting bored and drove down to RFK just to hang out. By that point security was so tired they just let us stroll on in for free! We walked right out onto the field to strains of Box and pinched ourselves as a fast playing went into a very cool Terrapin. The closer of Satisfaction echoed off the moon.

Worst show out of 200 by far!!
This was the worst show I ever saw! Probably didn't help that Jerry was about to fall into a diabetic coma after the show and kept leaving the stage to puke (from what I've heard).
Way too hot, no weedies, too many people...

Not the best SBD
Yeah, Dillon, man. He was awesome. Man, that Bob Dillon, what a cat!
Sorry, it was there for the taking.

Steamy Hot
I remember this show well. Very enjoyable. Dillon and Petty were great and the Dead were pretty good. Of course, in my opinion, they were never the same after 1977, but they were still enjoyable. I remember looking at the scoreboard at 10 PM and the temperature was still in the mid 90s. Shortly after this show was over, Jerry went into a coma and almost died. He came out of it some time later, not sure how many days and his first words were "I am not Beethovan!" Some Dead trivia.

I am going to tell you something right now this is one of the best shows i ever attended.
It is sad that people who didn't enjoy themselves twenty years ago have to waste everyones time with a review.
Musical highlights
1) Baby Blue>Desolation Row- was freaking hot!
I wish the later Dylan-Dead tour had been half as juiced
2) There is a great band intro to open the second Set followed by a sweet ,sweet BOX OF RAIN, perhaps the best of the post 73 BOX.
3) The rest of the second set was so hot that it seemed like one of those nights when you think they played ever song in the catalog.
4) The best review of this show I have ever read put it this way.
"You could probably have heard the last notes of SATISFACTION on the moon"

hot and bothered
ramble on rose was laborious to open. super short five song first set. jerry walking off stage on numerous occassions. inaudible bob dylan, nothing really new there. oppressive heat and humidity. bad shrooms. way too many people and a cookie cutter monster size stadium with the worst acustics known to man. No, i'd say the show was just right.
