Even though I own the remastered version that came out in 2020, I go to this for nostalgic reasons. It is terrible to play this on a Chromebook or Low-Powered Computer. I play on Windows 11 though... good game anyways

This is some source port I've never heard of, with a strangely renamed WAD. It may work, but this is not simply a preserved copy of The Ultimate Doom and should not be labeled this way.

Subject: Better Way to Play

(Ignore if you are using Chromebook or particularly low-power computer)
1. Get GZDoom, or other ZDoom fork, which is an open source Doom source-port (https://www.zdoom.org/downloads)
2. Download the zip file found on this page
3. Extract DOOMU.wad from the zip (nothing else is needed)
4. Launch ZDoom fork you downloaded and point it to DOOMU.wad when it asks for a .wad file
This method allows you to play Doom with modern controls and improved graphics. Method also works with Doom 2, which has its own page on archive.org (look instead for DOOM2.wad) or any other game made on the Doom engine, but the .wad files for other may be a little bit harder to find. ZDoom also allows for modding and additional map-packs to be loaded easily.

Edit: Links showing up in the .wad file names in my review, don't click these, I have no idea where they go.
