There's probably a bunch of sketchy junk in here. I had a "download all the things" attitude at the time, so none of this should reflect me, but should hopefully be a pretty accurate representation of textfiles on WINMX in 2003....

This is a collection of Macintosh software disk images ranging from the mid-80's to the late '90's.  The formats include 400K MFS, 800 HFS, 1.44 HFS, original CD images & custom disk images that I have created.   No guarantees that 20+ year-old software will actually work, although all the of the disk images except for the 400K MFS disks have been successfully mounted using Mac OSX 10.6 and Mac OS 9.2.2.

The files in this archive are taken from the file section of The Cave BBS of Raleigh, NC, USA. From December 1992 to February 9th, 1998, I ran a one-node WWIV BBS in Raleigh, NC, USA called "The Cave BBS." At its height it had over 1000 users, although definitely not all were active at once. The BBS was members of FIITA net, SWIPEnet, and CaveNet WWIV message networks at one time or another. I started with the BBS software WWIV 4.21a and slowly upgraded to WWIV 4.24a over the years,...
