This disc is for DOS or Windows 95. It does not boot into Windows. It does offer a DOS graphical interface. From there games install to either DOS directories or Windows folders (same thing). Works on Windows 98 and XP.

Twilight discs 1-9 have DOS front ends. Click on one of the "Menu" s. The front ends then produce a graphical interface (keyboard only). ESC to exit. They are a delight compared to the Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) we used to visit by dial-up modem.

Disc 10 and after are different. They boot automatically into a Win95 graphical menu with pictures and screen saves and infos. The problem is that Twilight producers were hackers and crackers, violating multiple copyright laws and digital rights management (intellectual property) protections. Eventually these perpetrators were prosecuted, jailed, and lost ALL their fortunes. But these relics remain.

The problem with these relics is that THEY ARE NOT COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS which do work and load and are repeatable all the time. Bonus!

Instead these Twilight offerings are complex for some reason, and they do not load with high expectancy like commercial CDs do. I have downloaded and burned dozens of Twilight discs with IZARC (an extractor and burner), PowerISO, and CDBurnerXP. None of these copies are assured to work all the time, that is, each time you want a new game. Rather, the CD player hunts and stops. No CD is found.

I have found by extreme patience that each type of format will work eventually. I was outraged that the first discs I cut did not read on my other computer's reader, the Win98 computer. These are DOS and Win95 programs.

It's the combination of my CD player and these wobbly CD images. From issues 1 to 47, these discs sometimes automatically boot and many times do not.

If you are using an old machine, and these discs do not read, turn the CD 1/4 to 1/3 in the tray, either left or right, and try again. And try again, etc, up to 10 times. Bonus!
