A monthly paper magazine, with the heft of the Sears Holiday Wish Book, could chronicle an entire technological singularity. Or that such a singularity could rest upon one moment in time, one place.
This is it: the legendary tech from Xerox PARC that gave us personal computers, Ethernet, laser printers, graphical computer screens, hypertext, software objects, search agents.
I was only two years old when the Moon became a footprint. But I can point to this and say: This is It. I was There.
