Description
Mushihimesama Futari is a port of the 2006 arcade "bullet hell" shooter of the same name, and the sequel to Mushihimesama. Controlling one of two characters, one or two players must shoot down waves of insect-themed enemies and dodge between increasingly intense patterns of deadly bullets. In addition to the upgradable standard weaponry, there are also a limited number of screen-clearing bombs that can be used in more desperate situations.
It includes a direct port of the arcade version, as well as Xbox 360 and arrange versions in three levels of difficulty. There is a score-attack mode, as well as the option to save replays. Each of the two characters to choose from has several shooting styles, which will also change depending on the selected mode. The game also features an extensive array of video options, which even allows the player to set up windows magnifying specific parts of the screen.
First-run copies of the game included a download code for the added "Ver1.01" mode, and the exceptionally-difficult "Black Label" mode is available as a downloadable extra.
