The goal of the game is to survive all three levels while killing as many aliens and destroying as many eggs as possible. Head for the door as soon as you've destroyed all the eggs.
CONTROLS
Use the mouse to turn left and right. Use the "A" or "S" key on your keyboard to move forward, use the "Z" or "X" key to move backwards. Click the "mouse button" to fire.
DISPLAY
The com-link allows your fellow Betty crew to communicate with you. Listen carefully, they have more experience and they often have good advice.
Your motion tracker displays the location of aliens with a white dot, while the large red triangle indicates the direction of the door. Ammunition is diplayed above, while your health is displayed vertically to the right of the motion tracker.
Your current level and the number of eggs left to destory on your current level are also visible throughout the game.
ENEMY
The eggs are the first stage of the alien lifecycle, destroy them first and you won't have to worry about them maturing in the future.
The facehugger is designed to fit securely around your head in order to deposit it's embryo deep within your chest cavity. Don't stop shooting if they're trying to impregnate you.
The Alien soldier is meaner than it looks. They have a tough exoskeleton that will require at least 6 rounds to fully penetrate.
OBJECTS
The barrels are standard liquid and plasma containers used on all USM spacecraft. They are bulletproof, so don't waste ammo trying to destroy them.
The soldiers left in a hurry so ammunition can be found strewn about the Auriga. You may not want to pick them up straight away, but remember their location for later.
The medkit is a soldier's best friend next to his firearm. These will definitely come in handy during later levels by restoring your health after alien close encounters.
