permission to use?
My name is Kate Fisher and I am hoping to be able to reproduce page 12 of this magazine (the Kinsey Report and your Wife) in a book, which Cambridge University Press is preparing for publication in 2016 entitled Reproduction: Antiquity to the Present Day, edited by Nick Hopwood, Lauren Kassell and Rebecca Fleming. I am the author of a chapter on Sexual and Reproductive Knowledge.
The book will be in hard cover, and I am looking to obtain nonexclusive world rights in the English language and for all editions and formats. Cambridge University Press is a nonprofit publisher of scholarly books, and this volume is intended primarily for scholars and their libraries.
If you are the copyright holder, may I request your permission to reprint the materials described above in my book? Unless you request otherwise, I shall use the conventional scholarly form of acknowledgment, including author and title, publisher’s name, and publication date.
If you are not the copyright holder, can you provide me with any assistance finding out to whom I should apply. If, for example, you know of a library which holds copies of this magazine, can you let me know, and I can apply directly to them.
