The Takara Video Challenger was a light-gun game console released by Takara of Japan in 1987. The console was contained within the light gun itself. All of the games were on VHS tapes. Most tapes appear to have been released in Japan only, though some were released in parts of Europe.
This Japanese tape is the first of two featuring Godzilla. Mothra and its grubs also appear. The objective is to point our gun at the screen and shoot the target on Godzilla to gain points, while pointing your gun away from the screen whenever Godzilla attacks to avoid losing points.
