Ultimate Spiderman is a video game based on the homonymous comic written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Mark Bagley. The game begins with a summary of Spiderman (Peter Parker) explaining that his father and Eddie Brock's will work together for Trask Industries to find a way to cure cancer; however, they died in a plane crash before completing their "Venom" trajectory, which would cure the carrier. Spidey bursts into the vault that contains the substance Poison and is covered by a portion of it, creating her black suit. This improved his normal superhuman abilities to new levels, but the road was consumed and finally left drained by experience. Eddie later discovers what Peter did and takes the rest of the way for himself, thus being born Venom.
