The Old School Emulation Center (TOSEC) is a retrocomputing initiative dedicated to the cataloging and preservation of software, firmware and resources for microcomputers, minicomputers and video game consoles. The main goal of the project is to catalog and audit various kinds of software and firmware images for these systems.
This compilation consists of a majority of the TOSEC Packs available, some of which may be years old but represent the most-current updates, as of September 2020.

@Retrogogo What is the issue with zip exactly? Almost every emulator can read this. Unzip sections you need, takes under a min for most of them, whats the problem?
The real issue is naming and folder structure. They need to improve this.
The torrent file is not corrupt, you troglodytes.
Archive.org creates the torrent file on the first upload automatically and ONLY the first upload. This means if someone uploads files A to G first, then H to Z on the second upload, Archive.org will have created a torrent that only includes A to G
STOP FUCKN TELLING UPLOADERS TO FIX IT.
ITS AN ARCHIVE.ORG ISSUE.

Others beat me too it but I will be specific.
You can never criticize anyone over free stuff because they will just tell you go &&&& yourself.
What we end up with is a giant cluster&&&& because nothing improves without some type of force such as criticism.
I appreciate this archive however TOSEC has never been kind on naming their files and Windows is a tall glass of piece of &&&& when it comes to long file name.
So, for an hour and a half, because these are in individual directory's for some reason, I have been playing footsy trying to get these updated.
If working with just a few files then cool but when there are hundreds of thousands well that is another story.
You end up moving hundreds of thousands of individual files to the root directory of whatever drive.
And the only way to do that is *.* which is just another Windows garbage system.
So please, in the future, can you just pack them first in their proper TOSEC archive.

Subject: Nightmare as each file has its own individual folder
If you expect to extract each zip and have individually zipped files that you can just use in an emulator then look for another archive. Each file is in its own folder and what makes it worse is that they are not individually zipped. You have to manually move thousands of files and then zip them. I have given up on this archive. This is the first Tosec archive i have seen uploaded this way. It is a total waste of time as it will take weeks moving individual files and zipping them up to have a TOSEC archive like the others before this.

The torrent file supplied as of 2020-10-21 is corrupt. It will only load up to AT&T, and even then not fully. Opening in a text editor will clearly show the corruption.
