yes, i used a normal teeny "point and shoot" digital camera (canon elph) and then vacuumed all the jpegs into a dir and have some software i've written that uses "mencoder" to turn them all into a "motion jpeg" video (where you can add an audio track, etc.)
i have some little tweaks to do "effects" like fade up and down, "hold" a frame for a longer period etc.
i recently got a new elph camera and they even have a decent builtin "time-lapse" feature where they take a picture every 1-2 seconds and make a "motion JPEG" AVI out of them...

Hello, I enjoyed this very much. You used a digital still camera? Or a dv, then a time lapse program to grab frames? I'm not familiar with time lapse at all, but the possibilities...

Southwest doesn't fly out of SFO I don't think.
