Another stable release of Slacko64 Puppy Linux is out!
Slacko64 Puppy is built from Slackware64-14.2 binary TXZ packages, hence has binary compatibility with Slackware and access to the Slackware and Salix repositories. It is a 64 bit operating system and requires a compatible Intel (IA64) or AMD (amd64) processor. More comprehensive release notes and documentation of known issues are available.

Latest bugfixes from upstream Slackware54 - 14.2
NEW - 64 bit and 32 bit EUFI boot capability! It is designed to boot on any x86 computer
NEW - FrugalPup installer to install Puppy to UEFI and BIOS computers, 32 or 64 bit either to hard drive, USB or SD/MMC devices See (FrugalPup page)
Ability to boot from ISO files from hard drive or USB device using Super Grub2 or you can prepare a grub2 entry manually.
New kernels following LTS branches of 4 series built with f2fs support and builtin mmc/sd drivers so you can boot from Secure Digital cards and emmc drives. There are extra kernels in the repository.
New and improved "change_kernels" script to easily change kernels
Experimental support for UEFI tools, efivarfs, efivar, mokutil, sbsigntool (use at own risk - RTFM)
