and this is our conversation and permission granted, as of today, July 23, 2006, sunday:
Hello Mike,
thank you for the email.
that's cool, I trust you'd always have good intentions and consider this
email my authorization for you to do what you think would be good to get
my father's music out there for people to enjoy.
Most everything he played is on his album, so it wouldn't be a conflict of
interest.
send me links when you're done, so I can check it out.
hope all is well with you and again thank you for your continued support
and interest in our tradtional music.
take care and keep in touch,
Max
Hi Max,
Hope all is going well for you.
This is going to probably come at you from way out in left field,
but, I thought I'd run it by you and your father anyway.
Your father seems quite open to sharing his music with others, of
other cultures, and introducing them to the Persian classical sound.
What I'm curious about, is if I might share my recording from the
Grand Performances concert, in Los Angeles, 2004-09-04
By what avenue of sharing?

The above link is to a website called the Live Music Archive (LMA).
It is run by volunteer live music enthusiasts, and is an effort to
capture the live music of today, for the generations of tomorrow. Its
basically a museum of live music performances.
