This is a root-only install of Firefox27.0.1 Linux version. If one has part of Firefox (Mozilla) installed in other folders, these must be removed, and stored elsewhere temporarily. There are two D/L types; tar-gz as tgz for older computers, and tar-xz as txz for newer computers. Your zip file manager will indicate if txz is ok. There are several security and privacy add-ons included, and about: config has been altered to accept only TLS 1.1 and 1.2 configurations using foreward-secrecy, plus two that are TLS 1.2 but not foreward-secrecy. There is a small set of default bookmarks to get started. Please note that "sync" is disabled. This version of Firefox was originally intended for netbooks from 2007-2009. Thus it is not modern, or bloated, and is good enough for surfing and shopping/banking in a secure environment. HTML5 is weakly acceptable, and works fine on YouTube as of this date.
