LA's Yakz (real name David Mitori) is a DJ/producer who knows how to make dark sounds. Looking like he might be able to hop a freight train, Yakz has brought a nihilistic edge to his bass music, crafting gritty, grimy EDM sounds. He started off in metal so that's no surprise. Yakz been on the rise for years, with each new release and big festival set winning over rabid fans: including huge names like Svdden Death and Oolacile. Riddim is Yakz bread and butter. When he hits the stage, no inch of the dance floor is spared - moshing and head banging are required from the crowd. Dark and rhythmic, Yakz tunes are a basshead's wet dream.
