The CD-ROM included with A World's Fair for the Global Village , the official book of the Internet 1996 World Exposition. It is an adapted version of the expo's website . While an upload of the CD-ROM's contents exists within the current website, it is missing all files that were marked as hidden. This copy contains the hidden files.

An archive of the CD was uploaded to an open directory by Axel-Tobias Schreiner, who happens to be one of its co-authors. The CD is significant in that it contains well over 15,000+ preserved webpages, all dated several months before the earliest Wayback Machine captures. This is a complete scrape of the Internet 1996 World Exposition, hosted at park.org . The URLs were retreived from the site's open AWS bucket. Included in the scrape is seemingly all server files and source code for the site and its attractions, which were residing in the bucket unprotected. In addition, backups of the CD-ROM and audio CD - which were bundled with the supplementary book "A World's Fair for the Global Village" - can be found in the Cdrom and AudioCD directories,...

The audio CD included with A World's Fair for the Global Village , the official book of the Internet 1996 World Exposition. All tracks were ripped to lossless FLAC, and metadata was added. The raw data in BIN/CUE format is also included for posterity. While there is an official upload of the CD located here , it contains popping and stuttering that is not present in this copy.
