Video game "Tanks 3D" v1.1 for Windows, a 3D tank shooter game on random scenery, that supports single player or TCP/IP network play. Shareware registration was free and online, now it's not possible anymore, however it only removed some text messages at start. Official Website (archived) The game was followed by "Tanks 3D: Reign of Steel", that on archiving date is still commercial.

After unzipping to desired folder, you may have to merge (doubleclick) the included .reg file for a correct installation. The original game was also in German, but changing language doesn't seem to work in this copy.
