Fox Trot with Singing.

Digitized from a shellac record, at 78 revolutions per minute. Four stylii were used to transfer this record. They are 3.8 mil truncated conical, 2.3 mil truncated conical, 2.8 mil truncated conical, 3.3 mil truncated conical. These were recorded flat and then also equalized with AES.

The preferred version suggested by an audio engineer at George Blood, L.P. is the equalized version recorded with the 2.8 mil truncated conical stylus, and has been copied to have the more friendly filename.

Denoised using iZotope RX7 Advanced. Note, it's actually a lot easier to remediate surface noise on a stereo digitization of a mono recording by using mid-side processing.

Why is the surface noise in stereo when the source material is monaural? Was a stereo needle used? Makes no sense.

Subject: Stolen Sunshine

One of two early recordings of the American classic, "You are My Sunshine". Paul Rice, the vocalist on this recording, claims to have written the song and then sold the rights to Jimmie Davis, who published it. However, some debate that "You are My Sunshine" was actually written by Oliver Hood, and stolen by Paul Rice.
