This is a good source, there is a more pumped up sbd source but the bass is oversatuated...

Check this show out if you hadn't before...old timers recognize this one as one of the true classics of the 1974 summer Wall of Sound tour...China>Rider is fantastic, perhaps the best pre retirement Wharf Rats, great Peggy-O, but the Truckin>Jam>Mind Left Body>NFA>GDTRFB is a truly outstanding sequence...wow...love this show...also contains one of the more profound Donna screams ever during the Scarlet Begonias, think Pterodactyl in labor

Thanks, strat. I have to admit I've ignored this show in favor of the other shows in the Pacific Northwest set, based just on setlist. I'll give it a listen.

The three 1974 shows in the Pacific Northwest set feature the only three live Money Moneys. I can think of reasons why they would stop playing it:

1) They rhythm is too damned weird
2) The crowd was put off by the lyrics
3) Donna was put off by the lyrics.

But I wish I knew what was the main motivation.

You are spot on , except, ... I will quote professor of paleontology, Gottlieb Schnauzer, "Pterodaktylen konnten keine Wehen haben, da sie Eier legten." That is to say they could not have a labor pains, as they laid eggs .
But if they could have labor pains, this example by Donna, is what they would sound like . I laughed .
