I have a general understanding of how torrents work, but I could use some guidance here. My understanding is that, whenever you upload a file to archive.org, it creates its own torrent file and magnet link which leverages the site's tracker and will seed it to you if you attempt to download it that way.
I have some relatively rare/older OS distro images that I've been seeding for a long time and would like to offload them to archive.org for persistence. However, I'd prefer that archive.org be able to seed them without creating unique torrent files so that users could use the existing files/links to download the file. Is there any way to do this?
