Tried that but the group of books still comes up in an illogical sort. Since I'm a zero in knowing how these books (any) get scanned and put into the archieve my question may have seemed naive. Since the publication date fairs no better in a sort than the title (typically they are the same) it appears the only way to clean this particular item up is to clean up the title. For example, the books are actually titled, as an example for most after about 1935, 'Amateur Radio Callbook 19XX Winter'. But most all are entered as Winter_19XX_xxxxxxxx. I don't know if titles can be changed. I've a number of these callbooks not on the archieve which I'd be glad to contribute but not until there is some logic to the titling. I do appreciate your suggestion and response.
