So with the relative quality of each recording now a moot issue, the audiophiles can sit this one out. That said, what's the best *performance*, the best show from the spring of '72?
Now accepting nominations. Support your position; in the words of Jim Rome: 'Have a take, and don't suck.'

I suck at why, however I chose the Rotterdam show with it's epic Dark Star!

I would have guessed with this two month internship across the pond that the strength of their performances might have gathered a particular momentum over time. (I'm partial to Rotterdam as well.) But there are reviews from early April that are remarkably strong. Check out this one from Newcastle, only their third gig, in early April.
