if I enter keywords "415 sweep marker", 2 results are shown which includes the correct one.
If I use keywords "B&K 415 sweep marker" the results are none.
If I use keywords "B&K 415" the results are a short list which does not include the target.
The "B&K" is both in the title and topics keywords and "B&K 415" is in the title (which is part of metadata) so these results are not making sense.
This is the test target - https://archive.org/details/BK415SweepMarkerGeneratorInstructionManual/B%26K%20415%20Sweep%20Marker%20Generator%20Instruction%20Manual/
Any explanation would be helpful.

it's the ampersand. it is a special character in lucene. you should use a space in its place. e.g. "B K 415 sweep marker" returns the item.

Thanks for the tip. That will be useful. (funny that it works in some cases)
