Forum: software Subject: Linked videos not showing up properly on Twitter

I recently created a Twitter thread linking to videos I uploaded to a collection on the Internet Archive.

Although I linked to each individual video in separate tweets, the video that shows up in the embedded video player that Twitter attaches to each tweet was only the first video in the collection, rather than the specific video I was linking to.

This is in contrast to YouTube videos, where even when I link to a specific video in a playlist, the video that shows up in the embedded video player on Twitter is the specific video I linked to, not the first video in the playlist.

Due to these differences in behavior, I'm thinking the issue might be on the Internet Archive's side, but not sure. I thought I would report this just in case there's something the Internet Archive can do to make these videos show up on Twitter properly.

Here is the Twitter thread in question, so you can see what I'm talking about:

And these are the specific links I put in each tweet:

Internet Archive:

Building on Liquid - Burak Keceli

Liquid, Lightning and Scriptless Scripts - Andrew Poelstra
Internet Archive:

Drivechain Q&A - Paul Sztorc
Internet Archive:
